Adults & children over 12 years:
  • 2 tablets every 6 hours
  • Not to exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours

  • Not to exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours

Children under 6 years:

Each tablet contains: Purposes:
Acetaminophen (Paracetamol) 325mg Pain reliever & fever reducer
Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2mg Antihistamine
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 15mg Cough suppressant
Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 30mg Nasal decongestant

  • Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson’s disease). Coltalin-DM should not be taken during or within 14 days of MAOI treatment.

  • Coltalin-DM is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to any ingredients of this product

  • Coltalin-DM is safe and reliable if ‘Dosage and Administration’ is observed. Do not exceed the stated dose.
  • This drug may cause:
    • drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery.
    • excitability, especially in children.
  • Consult your doctor before use if:
    • you are pregnant or are nursing baby
    • you have glaucoma, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disease, high fever
    • you have persistent or chronic cough caused by smoking, asthma or emphysema.
    • you have chesty cough, a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland.
    • you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers
    • you do not know if your prescription drug contains MAOI
    • you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day
    • your cough persists for more than 1 week or is accompanied by high fever
  • Stop using this drug and consult a doctor if:
    • symptoms do not improve
    • symptoms are accompanied by fever that lasts more than 3 days
    • new symptoms occur, cough persists for more than 7 days, cough tends to recur, cough is accompanied by rash, persistent headache, sore throat that lasts more than 2 days, sore throat is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, vomiting, nervousness, dizziness or sleeplessness.
  • Do not use with other products containing Acetaminophen (Paracetamol). It is dangerous to overdose.
  • Avoid alcoholic drink. Alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase the drowsiness effect.
  • Do not use for more than 10 days for adults or 5 days for children
  • Keep this drug out of the reach of children
  • In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
